The Waconia American Legion holds a sheephead tournament at 7 p.m. on Thursdays and a Texas hold ‘em tournament at 7 and 9 p.m. on Fridays. The Waconia VFW holds a meat raffle Fridays at 7 p.m. and bingo at 1 p.m. on Saturdays.
Master Gardener Help Desk
The Carver/Scott Master Gardeners have a help desk from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. every Saturday until Labor Day at the Waconia Public Library. No fee, just come and ask questions or bring a sample of a problem.

Farm regulation meeting
JUNE 6-7 & 10 – The EPA now requires farms and ranches to prepare oil-spill plans on their fuel storage tanks.
