Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, June 15, 2013. at 11 a.m. with gathering of family and friends for 2 hours prior to the service at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Watertown.
John was born in Watertown to John Cebulla Sr. (Jack) and Edith (Pearson) Cebulla on March 28, 1939. John was united in marriage to JoAnne (Palumbo) Blackketter on October 11, 1985.
John farmed all of his life on his family farm in Woodland Township until he retired in 1999 and moved to Mayer. In addition to farming, John enjoyed playing cards, fishing, going to casinos, and spending time with his Grandchildren especially at the annual family summer vacation.
John was preceded in death by his parents Jack and Edith Cebulla, mother and father-in-law Joseph and Ann Palumbo, son-in-law Kyle Stubbs, and brother-in-law Dennis Schmidt.
John is survived by his wife JoAnne of 27 years and his step daughters and spouses: Barb (Jeff) VanWatermulen, Karen (Kevin) Linn, Julie (Eric) Anderson, Linda (Rob) Berg, Mari (Rand) Harding, and Suzie (Tony) Noor. He was also survived by his Grandchildren: Chrissy (Ryan) Klingelhoets, Michael Udstuen, Taylor and Ashley Linn, Aaron, Zackary, Paige, and Kortney Anderson, Jered, Derek, and Conor Berg, Hallie, David, and Sarah Harding, and Jacob and Justin Noor. Sister-in-law Betty Schmidt, and special cousins Rita (Bernie) Nieman, Barb Sohns, Edward Pearson and many other relatives and friends.
Honorary Pall Bearers are John’s Grandchildren.
