Jon Joseph Beltz, 56, of Norwood Young America, passed away on Tuesday, June 18, at Ridgeview Medical Center in Waconia.
Jon Joseph Beltz was born on May 13, 1957, in Denver, Colo. He was the son of Richard and Helen (Olson) Beltz.  Jon was baptized as an infant in May of 1957, in Grandby, Colo., and was later confirmed in his faith as a youth in 1971, in Avoca, Minn.  He received his education in Fulda and was a graduate of the Fulda High School Class of 1976.  Jon furthered his education by attending Brainerd Vo-Tech in Brainerd, graduating in 1978.
On Sept. 12, 1992, Jon was united in marriage to Kristin Herrmann by Pastor Fry at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Norwood Young America.  Jon and Kristin made their home in Norwood Young America.  Their marriage was blessed with four children, Kari, Lance, Ashley and Abagail.  Jon and Kristin shared over 20 years of marriage.
Jon worked at Worldwide Dispensers in Lester Prairie, for five years doing injection molding.  Before that he worked at Entegris in Chaska, for 20 years.  He was a member of All Saints Lutheran Church in Norwood Young America.
Jon enjoyed traveling, was a fan of the Minnesota Vikings and loved his Harley-Davidson motorcycle.  He cherished the time spent with his family and friends.

Jon is survived by his wife, Kristin Beltz of Norwood Young America; children, Kari Beltz of Plymouth, Lance Neuhaus of Norwood Young America, Ashley Neuhaus of Minneapolis and Abagail Arellano of Norwood Young America; granddaughter, Abrielle Johnson; mother, Helen Beltz of Fulda; mother-in-law, Carlene Latzke of Belle Plaine; brother, Gregory Beltz and his wife, Tracy, of Janesville; sister, Katherine Beltz of Fulda; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Scott Herrmann and his wife, Julie, of Waconia, Eileen Clark and her husband, Brad, of Norwood Young America and Brian Herrmann of Hamburg; nephews and nieces, Stuart Tindell and his wife, Beth, of White House, Texas, Nathan Beltz and his special friend, Melanie, of Mankato,Jennifer Graves and her husband, Brandon, of Mankato, Donald Tindell of White House, Texas, Christopher Clark and his wife, Kayla, of Burnsville, Courtney Widmer and her husband, Michael, of Waconia and Jamison Herrmann of Waconia; and great nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, other family and many friends.
Jon is preceded in death by his father, Richard Beltz, and father-in-law, Henry Herrmann Jr.
Memorial services were Monday, June 24, at 11 a.m., at All Saints Lutheran Church in Norwood Young America, with a private family interment at a later date. Rev. Eric Aune officiated and Jane Fasching was the organist. Special music was “Spirit In The Sky” by Norman Greenbaum and “The Weight” by The Band with congregational hymns “Amazing Grace” and “On Eagle’s Wings.” Honorary urn bearers were Abagail Arellano and Abrielle Johnson
