Appeal for a Variance
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on Wednesday the 10th day of July, 2013, as soon as possible after 7:00 p.m. upstairs in the Social Services Wing in the Commissioner’s Meeting Room of the Carver County Government Center, Chaska, Minnesota, the Carver County Board of Adjustment will hold a public hearing to consider the application of Michael Widmer for a variance pursuant to Chapter 152 of the County Code.
The application is being made for the following described property (full legal description is on file with the application):
Approx. 1.00 acre in the NW1/4 of SW1/4 of Section 36, Waconia Township
Address: 10725 Hwy 284
If approved, this variance would allow Mr. Widmer to make application for an Interim Use Permit (IUP) to operate a home occupation (auto repair business) in the detached structure on the above described parcel.  The Zoning Code requires a minimum lot size of 2 acres for a home occupation detached structure IUP.
