We are deeply grateful to the Waconia community for showering us with care and compassion when Tate was diagnosed with lymphoma. To those who prayed faithfully for us, thank you. To those who donated financially, who participated in the Pennies for Patients campaign, and who kept us in gas cards, thank you. To those who brought us meals, who contributed to and/or attended the ProjectTate benefit, and who supported us with regular posts on Caringbridge, thank you. To those who texted or e-mailed us with words of encouragement, to those who offered a hug when you saw us around the community, and to all the amazing kids who shaved their heads in support of Tate, thank you.
Cancer quickly erases any notion that you can stand on your own two feet, so to those who helped us stand when we could not, we thank you. We look forward to seeing you at the Waconia Relay for Life on Aug. 16. We’d love the chance to thank you in person.
