The family of Al Dahlke wishes to express their genuine appreciation to the community for their many expressions of care and concern during Al’s final days.
We will forever be grateful to the Ridgeview Hospice team for making it possible for our family to honor Al’s final wishes to remain in his home until his life ended; without your support and loving care that would not have been possible. We also thank Waconia Marsden Pharmacy and their staff for the accommodating service they provided for Al. Thank you to the Waconia Moravian Church for your assistance in helping with the arrangements for Al’s funeral, in particular to Pastor Amy, who conducted a service for Al that emphasized the highlights of his life and brought comfort to all in attendance. St. Joseph’s parish, thank you for the use of your school facility and your very welcoming spirit extended to Al’s family and friends.
Thank you to the Waconia VFW and American Legion for the military honors provided during the funeral services. And to the Island View dining staff, thank you for all of your hard work to help Al’s family fulfill his final directive which was to “feed the people.” And lastly, a huge thank you to Johnson Funeral Home and their staff. The service you provide to families at the time of a loss of a loved one is second to none; our community is so fortunate to have your services available.
