Appeal for a Variance


NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on Wednesday the 7th day of August, 2013, as soon as possible after 7:00 p.m. upstairs in the Social Services Wing in the Commissioner’s Meeting Room of the Carver County Government Center, Chaska, Minnesota, the Carver County Board of Adjustment will hold a public hearing to consider the application of David Heldt for a variance pursuant to Chapter 52 and Chapter 152 of the County Code.

The application is being made for the following described property (full legal description is on file with the application):

Approx. 47.5 acres Govt Lots 1 & 2 in Section 11, Watertown Township

Address: 2530 Navajo Ave (Reginald Vinkemeier property)

If approved, this variance would allow Mr. Heldt to upgrade and install a compliant septic system that would be setback approximately 55 feet from Oak Lake, on the above described parcel.  The County Code requires a minimum setback of 150 feet for a septic system from a Natural Environment Lake.
