Linda Ann (Graupmann) Schugg, 65, of Norwood Young America, passed away on Saturday, July 20, 2013 at the Marie Steiner Kelting Hospice Home in Chaska, Minn.
Linda Ann (Graupmann) Schugg was born on March 6, 1948, in Arlington, Minn. She was the daughter of Wilmer and Ester (Oelfke) Graupmann. Linda was baptized as an infant on March 28, 1948 by Rev. Hilbert Schaller at St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church in Helen Township, Glencoe, Minn. and was later confirmed in her faith as a youth on April 15, 1962 by Rev. John Bradtke at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Arlington. She received her education in Arlington and Green Isle, and was a graduate of the Arlington and Green Isle High School Class of 1966.
In 1976, Linda was married to Theodore Schugg at St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church in Helen Township, Glencoe, for 21 years. Linda made her home in Redwood Falls, Minn., Chicago, Ill., and Norwood Young America.
Linda worked at Plywood Minnesota in Minneapolis as a bookkeeper and then at Young America Corp. in Norwood Young America as a project manager from 1979-1999. Linda was an active member at All Saints Lutheran Church in Norwood Young America, where she loved to do volunteer work.
Linda was the craft queen. She loved to make jewelry and greeting cards, do crocheting, quilting, stamping, and glass work. Linda also enjoyed ballroom dancing. She cherished the time spent with her friends and family, always having a special spot for her nieces and nephews.
Linda passed away on Saturday, July 20, 2013 at the Marie Steiner Kelting Hospice Home in Chaska at the age of 65 years, 4 months, and 14 days.

Linda is survived by her sisters-in-law Mavis Graupmann of Green Isle, Karen Graupmann of Prior Lake; nieces and nephews James Graupmann and his wife, Diane Ziegner, of Talkeetna, Ark., Michelle Forseth and her husband, Jeff, of Eden Prairie, Sue Schuth and her husband, Ron, of Plato, Nikkole Peterson and her husband, Jake, of Lakeville, Troy Graupmann and his fiancee, Kim Schultz, of Savage, Dave Graupmann and his wife, Katie, of Trempealeau, Wis., Kathy Luchsinger and her fiancé, Randy Zajecek, of Silver Lake, Joe Graupmann of Green Isle; numerous great nieces and nephews, other relatives, and many friends.
Linda is preceded in death by her parents, Wilmer and Esther Graupmann; brothers Rich Graupmann and Al Graupmann.
Memorial services were held Saturday, July 27 at 10 a.m. at All Saints Lutheran Church in Norwood Young America, with interment at St. John’s Lutheran Cemetery in Helen Township, Glencoe, Minn. Pastor Eric Aune officiated with pianist Jane Fasching and soloist Judy Aune singing “On Eagle’s Wings.” Congregational hymns included “I Was There To Hear Your Borning Cry” and “Soon And Very Soon.”
The family invites everyone to the luncheon in the church immediately following the service.
