Madonna V. Weber, age 69, of Sartell passed away Thursday, Aug. 15, 2013 at the Country Manor in Sartell.
Funeral Mass was held Wednesday, Aug. 21, 2013 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church (41 First St. East), Waconia with Father Bennet Tran as Celebrant of the Mass; visitation was Tuesday from 4 to 8 p.m. at Johnson Funeral Home (141 First St. East), Waconia and at the church one hour prior to the Mass; interment St. Joseph’s Catholic Cemetery.
Madonna was born on July 4, 1944 in Minneapolis, Minn., the daughter of Lester and Violet (Pfeifer) Haines. She was baptized and confirmed in Minneapolis. On Aug. 24, 1963, Madonna was united in marriage to Leon A. Weber at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Waconia by Father Kauer.
Madonna was a loving wife, mom, grandma, great grandma and she loved spending time with her grandchildren. She enjoyed farming, gardening, baking, cooking, dancing, country music and collecting antiques and Angels.
Madonna is preceded in death by her son Dale Weber; daughter Melissa Weber; father Lester Haines; dad Val Kulas.
Madonna is survived by her loving family; husband Leon Weber of Sartell; son and daughter-in-law Robert and LuAnn Weber of Sartell; grandchildren Christopher and Nicky Weber, Jennifer and Chaunce Shaw, Katherine Weber and special friend Jim Wolak, Robert Weber Jr.; great-grandchildren Matthew, Tyler, Phoenix, Siqoya, Danica; mother Violet Kulas of Brooklyn Park; brother and sister-in-law Thomas and Mary Haines of Blaine, sister and brother-in-law Dorothy and David Gustafson of Maple Grove, sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law Lorraine Van Sloun of Chaska, Irene Schleicher of Shakopee, Jerome and Sharon Weber of Becker, Edward and Sally Weber of Luck, Wis.; nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.
Casket Bearers are Bernie Weber, Tim Thaemert, Christopher Weber, Jennifer Shaw, Katherine Weber, Robert Weber Jr.
