An eager crowd of more than 1,450 spectators awaits the beginning of the football home opener against Macalaster College at the new KleinBank Stadium on the campus of Crown College in St. Bonifacius.

Crown College celebrated the grand opening of  its new KleinBank Stadium on Saturday, Sept. 7 at the campus in St. Bonifacius. The facility opened to the public for the first time Saturday and grand opening events culminated with the football season opener against Macalaster College.

The $2.4 million stadium hosted an over-capacity crowd of more than 1,450 spectators for the game, which went to Macalster’s favor 31-14.
