Elizabeth P. Ketcher, age 58, of Burnsville, passed away on Tuesday, Sept. 24, 2013.
Funeral Service held Sunday, Sept. 29, 2013 at 4 p.m. at Faith Lutheran Church 3430 East 51st Street in Minneapolis with Rev. David Domanski officiating; Visitation from 2 p.m. until the time of the service at the church; Interment St. Peters Lutheran Cemetery in Watertown, Minn.
Elizabeth was born on Nov. 3, 1954 in Ping-Tung, Taiwan the daughter of De-Ming Pan and Jing-Ruh Pan. On May 2, 1980 Elizabeth was united in marriage to Rodney E. Ketcher at St. Peters Lutheran Church in Watertown.
Some of Elizabeths hobbies and enjoyments in life were traveling to scenic destinations, teaching Chinese, playing with her grandson, cooking for others, providing and caring for those she loved. She had an adventurous spirit, eager to learn and experience new things and an unwavering devotion to her children, shown in her selfless acts of love.
Elizabeth is preceded in death by her husband Rev. Rodney E. Ketcher; brother-in-law Wei-Hoa He; nephew Kung-Li Pan.
Elizabeth is survived by her loving family: Children Rebecca and Fred Lewis of Duluth, Matthew Ketcher and Michelle Ketcher, both of Burnsville; grandson Benjamin Lewis; Father and mother De-Ming Pan and Jing-Ruh Pan of Taiwan; sisters and brother-in-law Why-Bing Pan of Taiwan, Tzong-Hei and Jing-Yu Jian of Taiwan, brothers and sisters-in-law Tzong-Shii and Chin-Wen Pan of California, Chung-Yang and Mei-Lyan Pan of Taiwan; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law Renee and Ken Kirchenwitz of Montrose; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law Keith and Diane Ketcher of Minnetonka, Ronald and Susan Ketcher of Norwood Young America; Nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.
Casket Bearers are Fred Lewis, Matthew Ketcher, Ronald Ketcher, Keith Ketcher, Tzong-Shii Pan.
