Kay Sivinski

Kay Sivinski of Waconia passed unexpectedly Oct. 2, 2013 of heart failure at the active age of 87.
Funeral service held at 11 a.m. Monday, Oct. 7, 2013 at the Faith Lutheran Church in Waconia with Rev. Dale Peterson officiating. Interment in the Faith Rutz Lake Cemetery. Visitation held 4 to 7 p.m. Sunday at the Johnson Funeral Home in Waconia and Monday one hour prior to the service at church.
Kay was born on Sept. 24, 1926 in West Virginia the daughter of George and Alice (Golden) Bukovatz. On May 29, 1952, Kay was united in marriage to Donald J. Sivinski in Carlton, Minn.
Kay loved spending time with her family, her grandchildren meant the world to her. She also enjoyed spending time with her companion George Hill. Some of Kays hobbies included listening to music, singing, dancing, shopping, traveling, playing cards and going to the casino. She would daily read the paper from beginning to the end. She will be missed.
Kay is preceded in death by her husband Donald; parents George and Alice Bukovatz; brothers George Bukovatz; Donald and Joseph Hanson; sister Edith Swendra.
Kay is survived by her loving family; son David Sivinski of Las Vegas, Nev.; daughters Rita Hoppenrath of Chaska, Lisa (James) Kalthoff of Waconia; grandchildren Gregory Hoppenrath and fiance;e Farren Bogar, Garrett Hoppenrath, Heather Kalthoff, Evan Kalthoff; great-grandchildren Emily Hoppenrath, Kaden Larson; sisters Ann (Alvin) Garland of Tenn., Darlene (Don) Flagg of Apple Valley, Judy Westmoreland of Miss.; special friend George Hill of Waconia; nieces, nephew other relatives and friends.
Casket Bearers are Gregory Hoppenrath, Garrett Hoppenrath, Heather Kalthoff, Evan Kalthoff, James Kalthoff, Gene Hoppenrath.
Memorials preferred to the MS Society or the American Cancer Society of MN.
