Peace Lutheran midweek program
Wednesdays – JAM! Jesus and Me! is a program designed to help kids think bigger, better and grander thoughts about God! We care about sharing the gospel with your child and teaching them how to build Christian relationships with others. The afternoon will be a time for kids in grades 1-5 to grow in their own relationship with Jesus. We will be studying God’s Word, teaching kids how to apply it to their lives, having fun with arts/crafts, music, skits, games and a light supper! WEFC Children’s Program
Wed. evenings – We’d love your children to join us at Watertown Evangelical Free Church to learn and share about God! The evening is filled with stories, music, games and love for our Lord, Jesus Christ. Whether your child is in Hoppers (born on or before 9/1/11 and potty trained – Pre K) or JWJ – Journey with Jesus (K-6th grade) they will love the friendships they gain with their peers and joy they will feel learning and sharing about God. St. Paul’s coat drive
Sundays, Oct. 20 and 27, noon – 2 p.m. – St. Paul’s Lutheran Church of Watertown is collecting coats, mittens, gloves, hats and boots for families in need in Watertown. If you would like to donate the collection dates are: Sunday Oct. 20 & 27, noon – 2 p.m. If you are donating used items please have them in good condition with zipper and buttons working, clean and no stains. Our second annual coat drive is Saturday, Nov. 2, 9-11:30 a.m. This gift to the community is very much appreciated.
DFL District 47 Meeting
Mon., Oct. 21, 7 p.m. – State Representative Debra Hilstrom, the current Chair of the House Judiciary Committee and a candidate for Secretary of State, will speak at the monthly DFL Senate District 47 meeting at 7 p.m. at the Victoria Fire Station. The public is invited to attend this event.

Chamber Trick or Treat
Thur., Oct. 31, 4-6 p.m. – The Watertown Area Chamber of Commerce will be holding its annual trick or treat event at local businesses.
Thur, Oct. 31 – Open to all ages. All carved, painted, and other decorated pumpkins welcome and will be on display at River City Theatre Company’s trick or treat location at the park in downtown Watertown (235 Lewis Ave S). Drop off your pumpkin and completed entry form on Oct. 30 at Marketplace Foods or on Oct. 31 between 2-4 p.m. at the park. All pumpkins will be released at 6 p.m. on Halloween. Prizes will be awarded in several categories. Please stop by our booth during the Watertown Area Chamber of Commerce’s Annual Downtown Trick or Treat Event Oct. 31 from 4-6 p.m. to vote for your favorite pumpkin!
