The high school football regular season wraps up tonight, Wednesday, Oct. 16, for teams throughout the state.

For Watertown-Mayer, a possible shot at a share of the Minnesota River Conference title might still be on the line, but they’ll need some help.

The Royals (6-1), ranked No. 4 in the state in class AAA, host Jordan (4-3) at 7 p.m. A win for the Royals tonight paired with a win over Tri City United (6-1) over Belle Plaine (6-1) would mean the Royals would share the MRC title with both Belle Plaine and Tri City United.

Belle Plaine has already beaten Watertown-Mayer this season, while Watertown-Mayer has beaten Tri City United.
