THURSDAY, NOV. 7 – Parents, childcare providers and school staff are invited to “Countdown to Literacy,” presented by Kilee Christnagel from 6 to 8 p.m. at Bayview Elementary School. Christnagel has worked for the past 17 years in Minneapolis Public Schools as a Birth-Grade 6 teacher, Parent Educator and Literacy Coach. She will share that literacy is a process which begins early in life and will have creative ways to develop reading, speaking and writing skills in children.
