Weekend event to benefit Crystal Gravelle

A5-Rally for Crystal 11 2

Crystal Gravelle

A group of friends and family have gathered to plan the Rally for Crystal Benefit for Crystal Gravelle on Saturday, Nov. 2. It will be held at Rosckes Family Farm (3255 County Road 10 N) in Watertown.
Gravelle is a paraprofessional at Mound Westonka High School and Waconia volleyball coach who was diagnosed with Hodgkins Lymphoma in July 2013. She is currently undergoing chemotherapy.
Although fortunate to have insurance coverage, Gravelle’s ability to work has already been impacted significantly. She can use the help from her community to raise money to help cover day-to-day expenses and medical bills. Gravelle hopes to continue to work as a paraprofessional at MWHS as much as possible at the school but is missing work during chemotherapy weeks. She has taken a leave from coaching volleyball at Waconia High School this fall to focus on her health and recovery.
“Crystal has always given to the community with her caring, generous heart,” said family member Sarah Gravelle. “Now is the time to support her and her 2-year-old son in the same way.”
