Peace Lutheran midweek program
Wednesdays – JAM! Jesus and Me! is a program designed to help kids think bigger, better and grander thoughts about God! We care about sharing the gospel with your child and teaching them how to build Christian relationships with others. The afternoon will be a time for kids in grades 1-5 to grow in their own relationship with Jesus. We will be studying God’s Word, teaching kids how to apply it to their lives, having fun with arts/crafts, music, skits, games and a light supper! WEFC Children’s Program
Wed. evenings – We’d love your children to join us at Watertown Evangelical Free Church to learn and share about God! The evening is filled with stories, music, games and love for our Lord, Jesus Christ. Whether your child is in Hoppers (born on or before 9/1/11 and potty trained – Pre K) or JWJ – Journey with Jesus (K-6th grade) they will love the friendships they gain with their peers and joy they will feel learning and sharing about God. Women’s Winter Escape
Sun., Dec. 15, 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. – The Montrose Royal Ambassador Committee invites you to attend the 2nd Annual Women’s Winter Escape, an expo style event, at the Montrose Community Center. Free admission, door prizes, and gift bags given to the first 50 women.
ICC Potluck Dinner
Sun., Dec. 15, 11:45 a.m. – Please join us for a “Food and Fellowship” pot luck luncheon immediately following the 10:30 a.m. mass. Enjoy a break from hectic holiday pace, some “old-fashioned” visiting time, a home cooked meal, and sing a few Christmas carols together. Serving begins at about 11:45 a.m.
December Choir Concert
Mon., Dec. 16, 7:30 p.m. – A choir concert featuring five choirs in grades 6-12 will be held at the Watertown-Mayer Performing Arts Center. Admission is free.
Children’s Christmas Program
Wed., Dec. 18, 7 p.m. – Peace Lutheran Church of Watertown, 600 Kristi Lane, will be presenting the Children’s Christmas Program “Where’s the line to see Jesus.” This is a free event and the public is invited to witness the real Christmas story unfold through the children of Peace. The program begins with the commercial focus of Christmas and turns the focus back to the story of Jesus’ birth and the true meaning of Christmas. Treats and beverages will be served by the children’s parents after the program.
Thur., Dec. 19, 7 p.m. – The National Alliance on Mental Illness support group will meet at the Waconia Moravian Church located at 209 2nd St. beginning at 7:00 P.M.
Watertown Blood Drive
