U.S. Bank appoints Palattao to VP/specialist position

Kenneth Palattao of Victoria has been appointed vice president and healthcare banking specialist for The Private Client Reserve of U.S. Bank.

U.S. Bank Wealth Management recently announced that Kenneth Palattao of Victoria has been appointed vice president and healthcare banking specialist for The Private Client Reserve of U.S. Bank.
As part of the healthcare solutions team, Palattao will utilize his deep knowledge and experience with the healthcare business to focus on providing a unique set of solutions for client’s healthcare practice and banking needs.
He will partner with and draw upon the full range of resources of The Private Client Reserve’s healthcare solutions team.
Palattao brings more than 20 years of health care experience to his new role, spanning over 30 different medical specialties.
His experience includes health care acquisitions and consulting, strategic leadership, and management of a variety of medical practices from small primary care clinics to large multi-specialty practices and surgical facilities with multi-million dollar operating budgets.
He will bring first-hand experience on the day-to-day financial management of a health care practice. Before joining The Private Client Reserve, Palattao worked at the Mayo Clinic Health System as vice president of operations and surgical services.
He has previous experience as executive director of Pediatric Surgical Associates, Ltd. and regional director at Park Nicollet Clinic Health Services.
Palattao earned a bachelor’s degree in finance from Creighton University in Omaha, Neb. He has a mini-MBA in healthcare management from the University of St. Thomas in Minneapolis, Minn.
He is active in the Minnesota Medical Group Management Association and the Medical Group Management Association.
He has also worked with the Institute for Healthcare Improvement on national initiatives to improve patient appointment availability and establish call centers. He has previously served as vice-chairman of the St. Joseph Catholic School Board and on the Chaska-Chanhassen Hockey Association Board.
Palattao currently coaches youth hockey at both the mite and bantam levels.
