ORDINANCE NO. 2013-676
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING
SECTIONS 900.04 AND 900.05 OF THE WACONIA CITY CODE MODIFYING CERTAIN USES PERMITTED IN THE B-2 GENERAL
The City Council of the City of Waconia ordains:
The following official summary of Ordinance 2013-676 has been approved by a four-fifths vote of the City Council of the City of Waconia as clearly informing the public of the intent and effect of the Ordinance:
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTIONS 900.04 AND 900.05 OF THE WACONIA CITY CODE MODIFYING CERTAIN USES PERMITTED IN THE B-2 GENERAL BUSINESS DISTRICT, amends Section 900.04 of the Waconia City Code to add a definition for mixed-use building and amends Section 900.05, Subd. 2, G, 2, to add mixed-use buildings and multiple family dwellings as permitted uses in the B-2 General Business District. A mixed-use building is defined as a building that includes a retail or commercial use otherwise permitted in the district together with a residential use (subject to certain requirements).
When the summary is published, the publication shall indicate that the published material is only a summary and that the full text of the ordinance is available for public inspection at a designated location or by standard or electronic mail.
This ordinance is effective upon publication.
