Pre-order your tree seedlings

TreeSeedlingCMYKThe Carver Soil & Water Conservation District (SWCD) has tree seedlings available for sale to landowners interested in planting trees this spring. The tree seedlings that the SWCD sells are bare root, with an average size of 12 to 18 inches tall. The seedlings are sold in bundles of 25 of the same variety, and cost $35-$40 per bundle.
All trees must be pre-ordered by Feb. 15, 2014, and must be paid in full at the time of the order. The tree handout is typically the last week in April at Baylor Park in Norwood. Mailings and email notifications will be sent out to those customers who have already ordered. DO NOT delay in ordering, the SWCD is only accepting pre-ordered trees this year, and will not order any additional trees.
For an order form of the trees available, you can log onto the SWCD’s website at or by calling the SWCD office at (952) 466-5230. You can also stop by the SWCD office at the Public Works Facility (11360 Highway 212), which is just on the west side Cologne, north of Highway 212.
