WHS loses two in Eden Prairie

Tough teams tested the Waconia boys’ basketball team in Eden Prairie last weekend, as the ‘Cats fell to Chaska and Benilde-St. Margaret’s in the four-team invite.

Falling to Chaska 71-58 on Dec. 27, the Wildcats trailed by seven at the half, 36-29. Outscored 35-29 in the second half, the Hawks would lead most of the game and Waconia could never quite catch up.
