Peace Lutheran midweek program
Wednesdays – JAM! Jesus and Me! is a program designed to help kids think bigger, better and grander thoughts about God! We care about sharing the gospel with your child and teaching them how to build Christian relationships with others. The afternoon will be a time for kids in grades 1-5 to grow in their own relationship with Jesus. We will be studying God’s Word, teaching kids how to apply it to their lives, having fun with arts/crafts, music, skits, games and a light supper! WEFC Children’s Program
Wed. evenings – We’d love your children to join us at Watertown Evangelical Free Church to learn and share about God! The evening is filled with stories, music, games and love for our Lord, Jesus Christ. Whether your child is in Hoppers (born on or before 9/1/11 and potty trained – Pre K) or JWJ – Journey with Jesus (K-6th grade) they will love the friendships they gain with their peers and joy they will feel learning and sharing about God. Pet adoption day
Sat., Jan. 18, noon – 3 p.m. – Volunteers for the Carver-Scott Humane Society will hold a pet adoption day at PetCo, in Eden Prairie. One rabbit, 20 kittens and 20 cats ages 4 months to 11 years will be available. Dogs 2 to 9 years old will be there. All cats and dogs have been micro ID implanted, vet checked, wormed, had shots updated, checked for friendly temperaments, and age appropriately spayed/neutered. Adoption fees apply. Dairy Princess Informational Meeting
Sun., Feb. 2, 11 a.m. – Candidates are currently being sought to compete in the 2014 Carver County Dairy Princess contest. Candidates must be the daughter of a Carver County dairy farmer or dairy farm employee, or be employed on a dairy farm. She must be at least a senior in high school, not yet 24 years of age by July 1, 2014, never married, childless, and have an active interest in dairy. There will be an Informational meeting at 11 a.m. on Sunday, Feb. 2, 2014, at Carver County Extension Office in Cologne. Parents are welcome to accompany their daughter to this meeting.
