Family Movie Night
Fri., Feb. 21, 6:30 p.m. – The Watertown-Mayer PTO will host Family Movie Night at the elementary school. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. “Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs 2” will begin at 7 p.m. Reasonably priced concessions. Open to the public. Waverly KC Dinner
Sat., Feb. 22, 4 to 7:30 p.m. – The Waverly Knights of Columbus are sponsoring a ham, scalloped potatoes, salad, hot vegetable, rolls, beverage and dessert dinner at the Waverly Knights of Columbus Hall. There will also be meat raffle during the dinner followed by bingo at 7:30 p.m. Proceeds to aid maintaining Knights of Columbus Hall as a community facility.
Sun., Feb. 23, 9 a.m. – noon – Delano Council 4653 Knights of Columbus and the St. mary of Czestochowa’s Men’s Club will be having a waffle, sausage and French toast breakfast at St. Mary of Czestochowa (1867 95th St. off Cty. Rd. 13, rural Delano). Proceeds benefit seminarian fund.
Public Health Shot Clinic
Mon., Feb. 24, 3 to 5 p.m. – Carver County Public Health (600 E 4th St., Chaska) provides immunizations, or shots, to residents who don’t have health insurance or whose insurance does not cover shots. Fri., Feb. 28, 6:30 p.m. – Immaculate Conception Church will be hosting CatholicManNight starting at 6:30 p.m. with a reflection on the life of Christ, Adoration, Confession, (free will offering) man meal, fellowship, and raffle. RCTC ‘Little Women’

Juvenile Diabetes Fundraiser
Sat., March 1, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. – “Spring into action and help find a cure” for juvenile diabetes at a special fundraiser event at the Blue Note Ballroom in Winsted. Includes crafters and business vendors, kids games, face painting, live music by the Total Country Band, a silent auction, bake sale, and much more. All proceeds will benefit the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.
Elim Home fundraiser
Sat., March 1, 10:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. – Did you know that the Elim Nursing Home does not own an AED Defibrillator? The Barnabas group from St. Paul’s Lutheran Church is having a community fundraiser in Watertown to raise the funds to purchase one for them. It will be held at City Center Park (across from the NAPA store). All proceeds will be used to purchase the AED for Elim.
