Window into Watertown’s history

Television actress Marion Ross is the subject of the current historical society display in the Carver County News window.  Ross and her siblings were born in Watertown. The Ross children spent their early years living in Waconia where their father was the manager of the Interstate Power Company.  Ross gained fame in her role as Mrs. Cunningham on the sitcom “Happy Days” which debuted in 1974 and ran for 11 seasons.  Now in her 80s, Ross continues to appear in a number of television roles and is the voice of Grandma Square Pants.
