Tickets now available for annual Dairy Day Dinner

The 62nd annual Carver County Dairy Day Dinner and Princess Coronation will be held under the theme “Join our Team in 2014!” at the Cologne Community Center on Saturday, April 5.
The Carver County Dairy Day Dinner Committee and the Carver County ADA invites the community to attend the dinner. The event serves to recognize outstanding local dairy farmers, as well as individuals and businesses that support the continuation of dairying in Carver County.
This year, the event also marks the seventh year of our young Dairy Ambassador program and the 62nd year of crowning the lovely young ladies that will serve as Carver County’s Dairy Princesses. All five candidates will be equally crowned as 2014 Carver County Dairy Princesses as all are equally eligible to compete at the Minnesota Statewide Princess Training Workshop “May Event,” at St. Cloud State University May 16-18.
While there, three of the five will have the opportunity to interview to become one of 12 Princess Kay of the Milky Way Finalists. The three that get that opportunity will be selected by a panel of impartial judges at the judging luncheon, sponsored by the State Bank of Hamburg, and will be announced at the Dairy Day Dinner on April 5.
