Tim Orth Memorial Foundation event to benefit Waconia toddler

The Tim Orth Memorial Foundation (TOMF) will hold its annual Jam the Gym event at Glencoe-Silver Lake High School on Saturday, March 29.
The mission of TOMF is to assist, financially or otherwise, children in west central Minnesota who are facing substantial medical expenses as a result of a serious illness or accident.
One of the children being aided by the event this year is Molly  Koschinska of Waconia. Molly, who will turn 2 this spring, was born with an atrioventricular canal defect and has had three open heart surgeries so far in her young life. She faces a lifetime of medical monitoring and additional surgeries.
Jam the Gym will include two basketball games featuring star players (both male and female) from the Wright County Conference. The fun includes other entertainment, a silent auction, a wings eating contest, concessions and much more.
The doors open at 4:30 p.m. and events begin 6 p.m. Admission will be taken at the door. For more information, visit timorthfoundation.org.
