Spring Road Restrictions in effect in Carver County

Spring Road Restrictions went into effect on all Carver County Highways on Friday, March 14 and will remain in effect until further notice.
The Carver County Sheriff’s Office will be patrolling the roadways with mobile scales to ensure compliance with the weight restrictions.
The Carver County Sheriff’s Office wants to remind truck operators that it is their responsibility to make sure they are in compliance with the posted limits.
These restrictions protect our highways from damage and help hold off costly repair.
All paved roads with restrictions will be posted with signs indicating maximum allowable axle weight. Unpaved roads not posted with signs are limited to 5 ton maximum axle weight.
A map showing specific restrictions is available at the Carver County Public Works office or on the Carver County website at www.co.carver.mn.us/departments/PW/docs/2014SpringLoadRestrictions.pdf.
Any questions regarding specific route postings should be directed to Carver County Public Works at (952) 361-5200.
