Crow River Soccer registration
Crow River Soccer Club’s Rec Soccer registration closes April 20 for U5-U8. Cost includes jersey, skills and games in non-competitive league. Register online at crowriversoccer.com. Discount if registered by April 4. Held at Watertown-Mayer Middle School on Tuesday and Thursday evenings starting May 20, ending with Jamboree on July 20.

Faith Renewal / Parish Mission
April 6-10 – A Faith Renewal/Parish Mission will be held at the Catholic parishes of St. Boniface and St. Mary of Czestochowa from April 6-10. The theme, God’s Wondrous Love, will be presented by Fr. Lon Konold, OMI. Hollywood Sports Complex meetings
April 10, 15, 17, 7 p.m. – Several sports meetings will be held at Hollywood Sports Complex in April. All meetings will be held at the complex at 7 p.m. Co-rec slowpitch: Thursday, April 10; Co-rec volleyball: Tuesday, April 15; Mens fastpitch & modified: Thursday, April 17; Womens fastpitch: TBD.

WMHS spring play
April 10-12, 7 p.m. – The thespians at Watertown-Mayer High School are currently rehearsing for their upcoming production of “Murder’s In The Heir,” a murder mystery and comedy that the audience chooses the murderer at intermission. The play is set to open on April 10 and run through the 12. Showtimes are at 7 pm all three nights. Tickets available at the door.

Easter Fun in Mayer
Saturday, April 12, 10 a.m. to noon – The Mayer-Watertown DandyLions invite all kids to the club’s annual Easter Event held at the Mayer Community Center. There will be games, prizes, refreshments and photos with the Easter Bunny.

Westonka Kids’ Stuff Sale
Saturday, April 12, 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. – The 19th annual Westonka Kids’ Stuff Sale will be held at the David M. Easter Faire at Zion, Mayer

Public Health Shot Clinic
Mon., April 14, 3 to 5 p.m. – Carver County Public Health (600 E 4th St., Chaska) provides immunizations, or shots, to residents who don’t have health insurance or whose insurance does not cover shots, from 3 to 5 p.m. Shots for adults and children available. CCLCCA training
Tues., April 15, 6:30 to 9 p.m. – CCLCCA will hold training at the Waconia American Legion. All licensed providers may attend this two hour training. St. Paul’s CANTATA
Fri., April 18, 7 p.m. – The CANTATA “We Remember Calvary,” the passion story through music and drama, will be presented at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church (505 Westminster Ave.) in Watertown.Adult choir, drama, and narration will paint a vivid and moving picture of Christ’s last days and His journey to the cross.

St. Paul’s Easter Egg Hunt
Sat., April 19, 10 a.m. to noon – The 5th annual Easter Egg Hunt will be held at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church (505 Westminster Ave. SW) in Watertown. Hunt begins at 10:15 a.m. In case of inclement weather, the event will be held at Christ Community Lutheran School in Watertown. Bring food or personal care items for the Friends for Life Food Shelf. Don’t forget to bring an Easter basket.

Book signing event

Lions Gala Dinner
Fri., April 25, 6 to 10 p.m. – Area Lions clubs, including St. Boni, present the Magic Gala Dinner Event at BayView Event Center in Excelsior. Goal: raise $23,000 to send 15 children with diabetes to Camp Needlepoint to magically transform isolated children into normal kids for a couple of weeks each year. The magic of this work helps change a child’s life by teaching them how to survive this manageable disease while still being able to be a child. Tickets: lionscrappiecontest.org.

Lions Crappie Contest
Sat., April 26, 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. – Area Lions clubs, including St. Boni, present the 2014 Lions Crappie Contest at BayView Event Center in Excelsior. A Service of Remembrance
Sat., April 26, 7 p.m. – A Service of Remembrance for those who have lost a loved one to suicide will be held at Waconia Moravian Church. This community worship service will be a time to remember your loved one who has been lost to suicide. All are invited to this safe place to honor and celebrate the memories. You are invited to bring pictures or mementos that are meaningful to you. The service is ecumenical and all faith backgrounds are welcome. Refreshments will be served following the service. House of Moy fundraiser
