Reschedule City Council Workshop to June 16th 2014 at 6:00 p.m.
Motion: DS/JK, CL, DS, JK in favor, MM opposed, TD abstaining, to adopt Ordinance No. 250, an ordinance amending Chapter 5 of the City Code relating to animals.
Motion: DS/JK, CL, DS, JK, MM, in favor, TD abstaining, to approve the summary of Ordinance No. 250 and its publication.
Motion: CL/DS, all in favor, to close public hearing at 6:55 p.m.
Motion: CL/JK, all in favor to adopt Ordinance 251, an ordinance amending the fee schedule in Chapter 20 of the Norwood Young America City Code pertaining to Animals, Backyard Chicken Permit.
Motion: CL/JK, all in favor to approve the summary of Ordinance No. 251 for publication.
Motion; CL/MM, all in favor to approve the purchase of the Speed/Alert Radar Message Sign at a cost of $5825.00. Funding from the Capital Fund.
Motion: CL/MM, all in favor to authorize the Willkommen Heritage Center to hang a barn quilt on the outside of the Heritage Center building.
Motion: CL/DS, all in favor, to adopt the Sign Retro-Reflectivity Policy for the City of Norwood Young America with some corrections and amendments.
Motion: CL/DS, all in favor to install stop signs in the Preserve and Meadows subdivisions in accordance to the Uniform Traffic Control Devices Manual and after written correspondence to the property owners.
Motion: MM/DS, all in favor to approve the custodian job description.
Motion: CL/DS, all in favor to approve the updated staff job descriptions with corrections and amendments as discussed.
Motion: CL/DS, all in favor, to accept the Encompass Forensic Evaluation Proposal
Motion: MM/DS, all in favor to adjourn the meeting at 8:20 p.m.
