Application for a
Conditional Use Permit
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on Tuesday, the 19th day of August, 2014, as soon as possible after 7:00 p.m. upstairs in the Social Services wing, in the Commissioners Meeting Room of the Carver County Government Center, Chaska, Minnesota, the Carver County Planning Commission will hold a public hearing to consider the application of Paul Savaryn for a Conditional Use Permit pursuant to Chapter 152 of the Carver County Code.
The application is being made for the following described property (full legal description is on file with the application):
Approx. 50.27 acres in the N1/2 of Section 1, Waconia Township
Address: 9950 North Shore Road
If approved, this Conditional Use Permit (CUP) would be considered a Farm Related Business/Large Scale Activity which would allow Mr. Savaryn an expansion of the existing business (Sovereign Estate Vineyard and Winery) on the above described property as a vineyard/wine processing facility with increased hours and operations. Future building plans include, but may not be limited to, concert band shell, an additional building for wine production, and a pavilion for additional event space.
