Central Clay Crushers begin spring season


Central Clay Crushers started the spring State High School season on Sunday, April 2.
This year the Clay Crushers have grown to 73 trap shooters.
Headed up by Head Coach Josh Kroells, who is excited with 23 new team members.
The numbers have grown each year, making this the largest activity sport.
Sunday was the first practice day. It also was Range Day  going through safety and firearms with the team.
Coach Kroells said the team 19 girls are on the team this year and they continue to see a growing amount girls coming out each year.
He also stated he has 11 returning seniors for the season.
Kroells feels that this will be the best competitive season this year, the fourth with much gained experience in his club.
Already this week, the Central Clay Crushers had three trap shooters receive 25 straight patches, Sam Meeker, Matt Johnson and Mason Milbrand.
