Kellen Erpenbach All MRC

SENYA and Mayer Lutheran golfers were recognized on the Minnesota River Conference golf team, with the events culminating at nine hole events at New Prague Golf Club on June 1.
SENYA senior Kellen Erpenbach, the son of Ron and Sheila Erpenbach, made the MRC boys team for the second time while SENYA senior Drew Curson and sophomore Hailey Haggenmiller and Mayer Lutheran seniors Dylan Fischer and  Addie Luehrs all earned honorable mentions.
The MRC MVP for the boys was LeSueur-Henderson senior Carson Stepka, while Jordan coach Kevin Gutzmer was named MRC Coach of the Year for the third consecutive year.
The MRC MVP for the girls was Jordan freshman Emily Henderson, while Jordan coach Ozzie Sand was named MRC Girls Coach of the Year for the third year in a row.
With the future of the SENYA program well in doubt given low participation numbers, according to head coach Ron Erpenbach, seniors for SENYA include Erpenbach, Curson and Eli Pulkrabek.
