The Harbor and The Haven at Peace Village senior communities received top awards for employee satisfaction, customer satisfaction and financial stewardship at a recent awards ceremony at the Ecumen Leadership Conference.
About 330 Ecumen leaders gathered at the Minneapolis Hilton Hotel for a two-day program held May 17 to 18, and top Ecumen sites were honored for outstanding achievements. The Harbor is owned by the City of Norwood Young America, and The Haven is owned by Peace Villa, Inc.
Both are managed by Ecumen, one of Minnesota’s top five non-profit providers of senior housing and services.
The Harbor received a first place award for both employee satisfaction and customer satisfaction based on rankings tabulated by Pinnacle Quality Insight – a research company that regularly and anonymously surveys residents, families and employees for feedback. Both The Harbor and The Haven received “MVP Community Awards” for strong financial stewardship.
“These awards are especially gratifying because they are based on how our residents and employees rate our performance,” said Laurie Hilgers, Executive Director of The Harbor and The Haven. “This is a strong vote of confidence, and we are truly honored.”
