Minnetrista/St. Boni Police Report: July 16 to July 22

Sunday, July 16
An occupied, running, vehicle was reportedly parked in a driveway along Westwood Avenue. The 18-year-old female driver from Victoria was sleeping in the vehicle. She was arrested for DUI and having an open bottle.
Suspicious activity was reported on Painter Creek Drive.
A resident on Painters Creek Drive reported his Mazda was stolen. He later discovered a relative had taken it.
A resident on Pine Lane reported someone struck and damaged his work truck while it was parked in his driveway.
A group of men making videos of themselves riding dirt bikes in the Mound Westonka parking lot were advised to leave.

Monday, July 17
Someone reportedly dumped their unwanted items in a business dumpster on Steiner Street.
Officers responded to a domestic call on County Road 15.
A 57-year-old Mound male was stopped for driving violations on Main Street. He was cited for possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.

Tuesday, July 18
A driving complaint was reported at the Highway 7 round-about.
A motorist struck and damaged a stop-sign at Tuxedo Road and Wellesley Way and continued on.
Officers and St Boni Fire responded to a carbon monoxide alarm on Centennial Avenue.

Wednesday, July 19
A resident reported golf clubs valued at $700 were stolen from a vehicle on Main Street a few weeks ago.
A resident on Trista Lane E reported her Coach wristlet and its contents were stolen from an unlocked vehicle in her open garage.
Officers responded to a domestic situation on Kennedy Memorial Drive.

Thursday, July 20
Suspicious activity was reported on Turtle Road.
Officers responded to a gas line break on Game Farm Road. The road was closed and the immediate neighborhood and Hilltop Primary School were evacuated. Centerpoint Energy arrived to pinch the gas line.
A suspicious vehicle was reported on Woodland Curve.
A noise complaint was received on Tuxedo Road.
A resident on Fox Trail reported a drill kit and a radio valued at $350 were stolen from his garage.
A trespassing report was taken in the 8700 block of County Road 110W.
A Minnetrista resident reported she was scammed over the internet. A potential employer told the victim she lived in another country, but was moving to Minnesota and would hire her. A check was sent to the victim for services to be performed and she was also asked to purchase iTunes cards for her in the amount of $180, which she did and texted the card information to the suspect. The victim was then advised that the initial check was fake and it was determined she had been scammed.

Friday, July 21
Officers responded to a medical on Elmwood Drive.
Property was damaged at Missile Park. Shingles were torn off the roof.
Officers responded to a medical on Sunnybrook Circle.
A violation of a Domestic Abuse No Contact Order was reported in Minnetrista.
Officers responded to a medical on Cardinal Cove Drive.
A 16-year-old female was cited for consumption during a driver’s education class.
A 40-year-old Mound male was stopped on Game Farm Road for failing to dim his headlights. He was arrested for DUI.

Saturday, July 22
Officers responded to a medical on Ox Yoke Circle.
A St Boni male was chopping wood when he accidentally struck his ankle with the axe. He was hospitalized.
Officers responded to a medical on Games Trail.
