Loving father, grandfather and brotherJames Paul Noll, age 71, of Chaska, MN, formerly of Norwood-Young America, MN, died Friday, August 25, 2017 at Auburn Manor Care Center, Chaska, after a courageous battle with cancer.
Memorial Service held on Tuesday, August 29, 2017, 2 p.m. at the Moravian Church, 115 East Fourth Street, Chaska, with The Reverend Mike Eder officiating. The family may receive friends 1 – 2 p.m. at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorials may are preferred to the family.
James was born July 10, 1946 in Minneapolis, MN, to John Sr. and Lorna (Guetzke) Noll, the youngest of two boys. James was raised in Norwood, MN, was baptized and confirmed at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Norwood-Young America and graduated in 1964 from Central High School. He served for 13 years on the NYA Fire Department and was employed at Thaemert Septic Pumping for 13 years. He was a Chaska resident for the past 15 years and loved the outdoors and hunting.
James was preceded in death by his parents. Survivors include his daughters, Jenny Noll of Minnetonka, Robin (Wade) Anderson of St. Michael; granddaughters, Alexa and Brianna Anderson; beloved ex-wife, Bev (Mike) Moshier of Excelsior; brother, John Jr. (Barb) Noll of Young America; niece and nephew, Ann Noll and Steve Noll; many friends and relatives that loved him dearly.
