Mayer Lutheran senior Rachel Schmidt recently signed a letter of intent to play Division I volleyball at the University of South Dakota next fall. The Crusader volleyball team snapped a five-game losing streak over the weekend with a pair of wins at a Chaska tournament. The Crusaders held their own, but would eventually fall to both Bethlehem Academy and Minnesota River Conference opponent Belle Plaine.
