Jordyn Wentzel, an eighth grader for the Watertown-Mayer/Delano swimming team, qualified for the state meet during last week’s sectional meet in Minnetonka. Wentzel qualified in the 500-yard freestyle by virtue of her fourth-place finish. She finished that event in 5:14.08.
