The Level 5 team from Legacy Gymnastics in Eden Prairie finished up the season on Dec. 8 by placing second in the state competition. Competing against over 30 teams and 300 athletes, Legacy qualified all 14 Level 5 gymnasts, finishing second with a score of 112.575. The team includes, front row: Maya Hepola, Morgan Wheeler, Autumn Hepola, and Ashley Anseth; back row: Shealyn Cecil, Nicole Thompson, Madison Holman, Sierra Boldenow, Caroline Fryling, Lauren Pate, Shea Kerry, Willow Gilbertson, Acelyn Harried, and Elodie Prew.

The sixth grade boys’ WBA ‘Gold’ team took first place in the Farmington Tiger Classic the weekend of Dec. 1. Girls from surrounding communities joined together to form one of many Crow River Raider fastpitch softball teams that participated in the MMFL fall ball league. This 16U team took second at the state tournament at Lake Ann Park, winning three of four games.
