The Level 5 team from Legacy Gymnastics in Eden Prairie finished up the season on Dec. 8 by placing second in the state competition. Competing against over 30 teams and 300 athletes, Legacy qualified all 14 Level 5 gymnasts, finishing second with a score of 112.575. The team includes, front row: Maya Hepola, Morgan Wheeler, Autumn Hepola, and Ashley Anseth; back row: Shealyn Cecil, Nicole Thompson, Madison Holman, Sierra Boldenow, Caroline Fryling, Lauren Pate, Shea Kerry, Willow Gilbertson, Acelyn Harried, and Elodie Prew.

The sixth grade boys’ WBA ‘Gold’ team took first place in the Farmington Tiger Classic the weekend of Dec. 1. The Waconia U12B girls’ hockey team recently traveled to Marshall for their first tournament, defeating Mankato Black, Mankato Purple, and Litchfield /Dassel-Cokato for the tournament title.
